We are on a mission
to inspire young minds by putting
passion back into play.
The belief that the playroom is the third classroom and is a place where children can tap into their innate desire to learn important skills and take risks to try new things. It is an inspired space that all children should have access to. That is why we started the Flower Power Fund.
We believe every child deserves a safe, fun and engaging environment to play and learn. We have teamed up with a variety of incredible non-profit organizations that make a positive impact on children's lives. Our goal is to create educational play spaces that can affect children’s lives, enhance their learning and spark joy through play.
How we give back with the Flower Power Fund
Every Flower Power decal sold will be matched with a donation of one decal given to a child in transitional housing and $1 donated to Free Arts NYC. As an extension of this partnership, we are working with Free Arts NYC to design and provide a Project Playroom for children at community centers and in transitional housing facilities. We donate our services and products to other non profit organizations who don’t have the means to have a Project Playroom. Project Playroom works with shelters, nonprofits, and organizations dedicated to helping children, in-need, and at-risk communities.
Project Playroom Partners with the Ronald McDonald House
Project Playroom Co-founders Denise Davies and Karri Bowen-Poole are going to completely transform the space into a vibrant, modern educational playroom for the families served by the Ronald McDonald House.
As part of Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley’s 10-year anniversary and the Project Playroom Flower Power Fund, Project Playrooms is giving their playroom a much needed update including: new open-ended toys, a reading nook, a playhouse , new flooring and new wall decor and finishes.
“As we celebrate our 10-year anniversary of keeping families together and facilitating access to the best pediatric medical care in our community, we are thrilled that Project Playroom is donating their talent to remodel our playroom for the children who will call the House their home,” said Christina Riley, Executive Director of RMHGHV. “So many families will enjoy this new interactive, safe, and colorful play space for another decade and beyond.”
